A quick project for Toronto-based Ad Agency BTLCAP, where they had a concept for an AR greeting card for a weed event themed around Christmas in July. They wanted to animate a snowman lighting up and getting high, so I did just that.
They had a rough storyboard ready, so I quickly sketched out an animatic, got it approved, and went to work. While the animation itself may be simple, I take great care in adding small details and secondary motions to polish up the end result, such as rigging the pot hat (heh), pipe, and weed bag to be faux-3D, the pipe shoving into the snowman's mouth causing him to pushed upwards, and a proper melting animation.
